這是一首聽來有點爵士、非常舒服的夏威夷民歌演奏曲，由當地出生的 Arthur Lyman (1932-2002) 於1957年所錄製，在1962年登上 Billboard magazine charts (美國告示牌雜誌排行榜) 長達10週之久，最高名次為第四名。



1960年，由Bob Flick、Mike Kirkland、John Paine 和 Richard Foley 在1958年組合成軍的美國知名民謠團體 The Brothers Four 的演唱版，並未發行單曲，而是直接收錄在1960年的同名專輯以及後來的各精選集之中，反而成為眾所皆知的版本。

另外演唱過的還有 The Mills Brothers (#70, 1959)、Lawrence Welk (#71, 1961)
